When a hitchhiker, stumbling down a lonely, darkened road finds a gun on the side of the highway, his amateur vigilantism leads to unforeseen consequences for two criminals on the way to their latest job.
"NEON 110" is a short Australian student film, from first time writer-director Jordan Brand. Evoking a feel of 1980s crime thrillers against a modern backdrop, the film is presently being shown at international film festivals.
"Through my film 'NEON 110', I hope to demonstrate the destructive power of violence, and the dangers of vigilantism. Through adopting the style of the neo-noir and 1980s thrillers, the film pays homage to the cinematic history that has inspired it. I'd like to thank everyone involved in the production of the film – without our fantastic cast and crew, this wouldn't have been possible."
